At this torque level you are into the range where the wheel can genuinely fight back, which is the point: a car losing grip should be something you feel in your arms, not something you read off a screen.

Key specifications

Peak torque: 12Nm

Drive: direct drive

Encoder: 21 bit magnetic

Motor: slanted pole servo, carbon fibre wrapped rotor

Peak power: 216W

Polling rate: 1000Hz over USB

Rotation: 90 to 2700 degrees

Power: 110 to 220V AC to 36V DC

Weight: 7.5kg

Dimensions: 225.87 x 156.68 x 123.99mm

Housing: aviation grade aluminium

Mounting: 4 hole bottom mount, front bracket holes, optional desk clamp

Platform: PC only

You need a rig for this

Do not clamp a 12Nm base to a desk and expect it to feel right. The clamp will hold, but the desk will flex under peak torque and that flex arrives at your hands as vagueness. A bolted aluminium profile rig, or at minimum a purpose built wheel stand, is effectively a requirement at this level rather than an upgrade.

The carbon fibre wrapped rotor is not marketing. Wrapping the rotor lets it spin faster without the magnets migrating, which is how you get high torque without the motor becoming enormous.

Base only

No wheel rim and no pedals included. Budget for both.

PC only. No console support.
