A budget 550W unit with 80 PLUS Bronze certification and a DC to DC design that puts all 550W on a single +12V rail. A 120mm fluid dynamic bearing fan keeps noise down at low load, and the main capacitor is a Japanese 105 degree part. Full protection set including OCP, OVP, UVP, OPP, SCP and OTP.

Key specifications

  • Wattage: 550W continuous
  • Efficiency: 80 PLUS Bronze, certified at 20, 50 and 100 percent load
  • Modularity: non modular, all cables permanently attached
  • ATX standard: Intel ATX12V version 2.52
  • Topology: DC to DC, single +12V rail carrying full power
  • Fan: 120mm fluid dynamic bearing, from roughly 700 rpm at 25C ambient up to about 2000 rpm
  • Capacitor: Japanese main capacitor rated to 105C
  • Dimensions: 140 x 150 x 86mm
  • Input: 100 to 240V, 50 to 60Hz
  • Protections: OCP, OVP, UVP, OPP, SCP, OTP, NLO, SIP
  • Warranty: 5 years

Connectors

  • 1 x 20+4 pin motherboard
  • 1 x ATX12V 8 pin (4+4) CPU
  • 2 x PCIe 6+2 pin
  • 5 x SATA
  • 2 x Molex 4 pin
  • 1 x floppy 4 pin

Before you buy

There is no 12V-2x6 or 12VHPWR connector, and this is ATX12V 2.52 rather than ATX 3.x. If you are pairing this with an RTX 40 or 50 series card you must use the adapter supplied with the graphics card, and the unit carries no ATX 3.0 transient spike rating.

Non modular. Every cable is fixed. In a compact Micro ATX or Mini ITX case the unused SATA, Molex and floppy leads have to be stowed somewhere, and there is no way to remove them.

Only two PCIe 6+2 connectors. That caps you at graphics cards needing two 8 pin inputs regardless of the 550W headline figure.

Do not confuse this with the XPG PYLON II Bronze 550W. That is a different, newer unit that is ATX 3.1 compliant and does include a 12V-2x6 connector rated at 300W. Same family name, materially different product.
