This is a server part
45.3 dB(A) is loud. That is normal and correct for a 4U server cooler, which is designed to survive in a rack where nobody is listening. Do not put this in a machine that sits near a person.
Dual ball bearings are used instead of fluid dynamic ones because they tolerate continuous operation at high temperature for years. They are slightly noisier than FDB at the same speed, and that is a deliberate trade for lifespan.
At 1472g this is a heavy cooler. Check your chassis and board support it, and never ship a machine with it installed without bracing.
Warranty: ARCTIC does not print a warranty figure on this product page. Their standard across the range is 6 years, and we confirm the covered period at the time of sale rather than assume it.
