Before you buy

This is 1x16GB, so it runs single channel. Corsair also sells CMH16GX5M2E6000Z36, which is the same 16GB total split across two 8GB sticks and does run dual channel. Same brand, same speed, same capacity, very different memory bandwidth. Check the part number, not the capacity headline.

At 44mm tall, clearance is a real problem. Vengeance RGB modules are 44mm high against 35mm for the non RGB Vengeance CMK line. Large tower air coolers such as the Noctua NH-D15 and DeepCool AK620 frequently foul them. Check your cooler's RAM clearance spec before ordering.

6000 MT/s requires EXPO or XMP enabled in the BIOS. It ships at JEDEC default speed otherwise.

Adding a second module later is not guaranteed to run at 6000 CL36. Corsair does not warrant that separately purchased modules will pair at rated speed. If you want 32GB, buy a matched kit.

CMH is Vengeance RGB. CMK is non RGB Vengeance. CMG is Vengeance RGB RS, a cheaper and different line. Only CMH is this product.
