The Cosmic Byte Lumora is a tri-mode gamepad for PC, Android and iOS with a stealth black shell whose artwork only shows when the RGB lighting is on. It uses Hall effect joysticks and switchable analog or digital Hall effect triggers, mechanical ABXY and D-pad, a 6-axis gyro, 1000Hz polling and a 1300mAh battery.

Before you buy

  • The manual states it is NOT compatible with PlayStation, Xbox or Nintendo Switch.
  • The 3.5mm audio jack does not work in Bluetooth mode, and the Windows software does not support Bluetooth connection.
  • iOS connects over Bluetooth only.
  • The black shell looks plain with RGB off; the artwork shows only when RGB is on.

1. Does the Lumora work with PS4, PS5 or Switch?

No. Cosmic Byte's manual says it is not compatible with PlayStation, Xbox or Nintendo Switch.

2. Can I use it with an iPhone?

Yes, over Bluetooth. Pair by holding P + B for 3 seconds.

3. What is the battery life?

It has a 1300mAh battery rated for up to 10 hours with the LEDs off.

4. Are the sticks drift free?

It uses Hall effect joysticks and triggers, which use magnetic sensing instead of wearing potentiometers.

5. Does the headphone jack work wirelessly?

Yes in 2.4GHz dongle and wired modes, but not in Bluetooth mode.
