The first Hinokami Chronicles game puts you in Tanjiro Kamado's shoes across the anime's opening season and the Mugen Train film. You explore, talk, investigate and then drop into fast arena fights against demons, all rendered by CyberConnect2 in a style that holds up next to the show itself.
Story Mode
Play through the first season plus Mugen Train, moving between exploration segments, side events and boss battles. Cutscenes are lifted straight from the anime's visual language, so the pacing feels closer to watching an episode than reading a menu.
Versus Mode
Two character teams with tag and assist mechanics. Fight the CPU, sit a friend next to you for local 2 player, or take it online with a PlayStation Plus membership.
Roster
Launched with 18 fighters and grew to 31 through six free updates, including Academy costume variants and alternate arc versions of core characters. Seven paid DLC characters exist separately and are not on the standard disc.
