The letter is a case family and length designation, not a speed difference. Both are 10Gbps. Model D is 670mm and fits Pop and Focus 2. Model E is 1000mm and fits the Meshify 2 Lite and RGB cases listed above. Check which your case takes before ordering.
Your motherboard needs a USB 3.2 Gen 2 20 pin Key-A header for this to work.
