FSP Hydro GT PRO 1000W 80 PLUS Gold Semi Modular PSU

The FSP Hydro GT PRO 1000W is a semi modular 80 PLUS Gold supply with a 120mm fluid dynamic bearing fan. It is the value entry in FSP's kilowatt range, built to the older ATX12V V2.5 specification.

Read this before you buy

This is not an ATX 3.0 or ATX 3.1 unit and it has no 12VHPWR or 12V-2x6 connector. A current NVIDIA RTX 40 or 50 series card will need the adapter that came in its own box, converting from standard 8 pin PCIe leads. It also does not carry the ATX 3.x transient spike rating, so a card with aggressive power excursions can trip the protection on a supply of this class even at 1000W.

If you want a genuinely modern kilowatt unit, the Hydro G PRO ATX 3.1 1000W or Vita GM 1000W in this range both have native 12V-2x6 and full modularity. Buy the GT PRO if your graphics card uses conventional 8 pin connectors and you want the wattage cheaply.

Warranty: FSP does not publish a warranty period for the Hydro GT PRO line. We confirm the covered period at the time of sale rather than quote the 10 year figure used on the Hydro G and PTM units.
