Why the short depth matters

Compact ATX and small form factor cases usually cap PSU length around 140 to 160mm, and that limit tightens further once a front mounted radiator is fitted. At 130mm this unit leaves room for cable bends behind it, which is where most tight builds actually fail. The trade off is a 120mm fan rather than the 135mm used in the standard PTM PRO, so it works marginally harder at the same load.
