This is a server part, not a gaming PSU

Read this before ordering. The 40mm fans in a redundant supply run fast and are genuinely loud. This is normal for the form factor and is not a defect. It belongs in a rack or a machine room, not on a desk.

It requires a chassis built for a PS2 redundant cage and will not fit a standard ATX case.

Choose 700W over the 500W version if your server runs more drives, more PCIe cards, or a higher TDP processor. Remember that in 1+1 redundant operation the rated figure is what one module supplies, so 700W is your working budget, not 1400W.
