480mm radiator support is the headline
Almost every case tops out at 420mm. 480mm means four 120mm fans in a row on a single radiator, which is the practical ceiling for air to liquid cooling in a desktop chassis. If you are building a custom loop for a high wattage workstation processor and a graphics card block, this is the reason to look at the U500.
Storage and expansion
Four 3.5 inch and six 2.5 inch positions, and a dual GPU support bracket for machines running two cards. At 568mm tall it is a genuinely large chassis, so measure the space it will occupy.
The digital fan speed display on the front shows live RPM without needing software, which is a small but genuinely useful feature on a machine that runs long jobs unattended.
