Before you buy

Only one of the two M.2 slots is PCIe 5.0. M2A_CPU runs Gen5 x4. M2B_CPU is Gen4 x4. If you are fitting two Gen5 drives, only the first one will run at Gen5 speed.

The second full length slot is PCIe 3.0 x4, not x16. It is physically a x16 socket but electrically four lanes at Gen3. It is not usable as a second graphics slot and it will bottleneck a Gen4 expansion card.

This is not simply a smaller B850 EAGLE. The full ATX B850 EAGLE WIFI6E has three M.2 slots but only 1 Gigabit LAN. This Micro ATX board has two M.2 slots but 2.5 Gigabit LAN. The storage count and the network speed both differ, so check which one you actually want.

DDR5-8200 is an overclock ceiling, not a default. The board boots at JEDEC speed until you enable EXPO or XMP in BIOS.
