Before you buy

This is 2.4GHz only, not Bluetooth. It will not pair with a phone, tablet or smart TV, and it needs a free USB-A port for the receiver.

Batteries are not listed in the box contents. Plan on supplying your own.

1600 DPI is the top setting, not a fixed one. The mouse steps through 800, 1200 and 1600.

If you lose the receiver, the set is dead. There is no Bluetooth fallback and HP does not sell a replacement dongle separately for this model.
