What it is for

Use it with a vertical GPU mount or a chassis that supports vertical card orientation. Shorter riser cables hold signal better, and 200mm is sized for mid tower and larger builds where the card sits close to the side panel.

Before you buy: Check that your motherboard slot and graphics card both support PCIe 5.0 if you want 5.0 speeds. A 5.0 riser on a 4.0 system runs at 4.0. Also confirm your case has a vertical mounting bracket, this cable does not include one.
