HYTE SPF Solid Processor Frame AM5 Black

The HYTE Solid Processor Frame for AMD AM5 replaces the stock retention bracket with a flat machined aluminium frame. AM5 chips do not bend the way Intel's LGA1700 parts do, so treat this as a contact consistency and build quality upgrade rather than a large temperature fix. The practical gains are a more even mounting pressure and a cleaner look around the socket.

Honest expectation setting

If you are buying this expecting the same drop that LGA1700 owners report, you will be disappointed. AM5's stock retention is already reasonably flat. Buy it for the finish and the consistency, not for a headline temperature number.

Before you buy: AM5 only, it will not fit AM4 or any Intel socket. Removing the stock bracket is a permanent change and may affect your motherboard warranty. Check your cooler mounting kit still works with the frame in place, some AM5 coolers mount to the stock bracket itself.
