HYTE SPF Solid Processor Frame LGA1700 Black

LGA1700 is the socket that made CPU bending a mainstream topic. Intel's stock loading mechanism flexes 12th, 13th and 14th generation processors enough that the centre of the heat spreader pulls away from the cooler. The HYTE Solid Processor Frame swaps that mechanism for a flat aluminium frame and restores even contact.

Why it matters on LGA1700

The gain is largest on high power parts such as the i7 and i9 K series, where the cooler is already working hard and a poor contact patch shows up immediately in package temperature. Lower core to core temperature spread is the other common result.

Before you buy: LGA1700 only, it does not fit LGA1851 or AM5. Replacing the ILM is a permanent modification to the socket assembly and may affect your motherboard warranty. Follow the tightening sequence, overtightening does more harm than the stock ILM.
