HYTE SPF Solid Processor Frame LGA1851 White

The white finish HYTE Solid Processor Frame for LGA1851. It replaces Intel's stock independent loading mechanism, which clamps down through the centre of the processor and bends it slightly. A flat frame keeps the heat spreader flat, so the cooler cold plate contacts more of it and sustained load temperatures come down.

Installation

Unscrew the stock ILM, drop the frame in, tighten with the supplied L-wrench. 2g of HYTE Thermal Goop is included so you can reseat the cooler right away.

Before you buy: LGA1851 only, it does not fit LGA1700 or AM5. Removing the ILM is a permanent change to the socket assembly and may affect your motherboard warranty.
