Before you buy

No USB receiver is included. This is the Bluetooth only consumer model. If you need a dongle for BIOS or UEFI access, a KVM, or a machine without built in Bluetooth, you need the MX Keys Mini for Business, which ships with a Logi Bolt receiver. It is also not Unifying compatible, so an old Unifying dongle will not pair it.

The backlight is white only and it is not always on. It wakes on hand proximity and sleeps otherwise. This is designed behaviour, not a fault. Leaving backlighting on also cuts runtime from 5 months to about 10 days.

Scissor switches, not mechanical. Despite the price this is a low travel laptop style board. If you are coming from an MX Mechanical Mini, the feel is very different.

No numeric keypad. The function row also defaults to media and system actions, and inverting that behaviour requires the Logi Options+ software.

The battery is not user replaceable.
