This is a kit of springs and damping blocks. It contains no pedal. It requires an existing MOZA CRP2 or SRP2 pedal set.
Ten springs, a set of damping blocks and an aluminium block, which MOZA calculates gives up to 1,764 possible brake feel configurations. Entirely mechanical, no electronics.
What is in the box
- 10x springs of varying rates
- Assorted damping blocks
- 1x aluminium block
- Official name: MOZA Brake Performance Kit (for CRP2 and SRP2)
- Retail SKU: RS069, sold as the CRP2 Performance Kit
What it is actually for
Stock sim racing brake pedals are usually too soft to brake consistently against. This kit lets you build up a stiff, short travel pedal that behaves like an F1 or F2 brake, where you push against a wall of resistance rather than travelling through a long stroke.
The point is repeatability. If the pedal always feels identical at a given pressure, threshold braking becomes a muscle memory task rather than a guessing game. That is worth more lap time than almost any other single change to a rig.
Compatibility, check carefully
This kit fits the CRP2 and SRP2 pedal sets. It does not fit the SRP Lite2. MOZA sells a separate SRP Lite2 Brake Performance Kit for those. The names are similar enough to catch people out.
Two names, one product: MOZA's site calls it the Brake Performance Kit. The retail box and SKU RS069 call it the CRP2 Performance Kit. Same thing.
