Who this is really for
Truck simulation, rally and road car driving, where the ancillary controls matter as much as the steering. In Euro Truck Simulator a stalk for indicators and wipers changes the experience considerably, because those are things you actually use constantly rather than occasionally.
For circuit racing it is close to pointless. GT and formula cars have no wipers, no indicators and no cruise control, and every function you need is already on the wheel.
The auto cancelling indicators are the standout detail. Steering angle triggers the cancel, the same mechanism a real car uses. It is a small thing that makes long distance truck driving feel considerably more natural.
