Why 400mm changes the experience
Truck simulation is about a slower, heavier steering feel and larger arm movements than racing. A 300mm racing rim technically works, but it makes a 40 tonne vehicle handle like a hot hatch. 400mm is close enough to a real truck wheel to restore the right pace of input.
Fourteen buttons matters here too: indicators, lights, wipers, retarder, cruise control and air horn add up fast in Euro Truck Simulator and American Truck Simulator.
Mounting
A 400mm rim puts significant leverage on the base. MOZA sells a separate Clamp for Truck Wheel designed for this, and it is the recommended mount. It is not included.
This is a rim only. It requires a MOZA wheelbase, or a third party base with the MOZA hub kit.
