Three things this monitor does not have

Retailer listings for this model frequently get these wrong, so to be clear:

  • No built in speakers. Some listings claim them. MSI's own specification does not.
  • No DisplayPort. The second input is D-Sub VGA, not DisplayPort. Some listings describe it as a "video port", which is a garbled VGA reference.
  • No HDR. MSI does not claim any HDR support for this panel.

The stand is tilt only. If you need height adjustment or pivot, plan for a VESA arm.

Note on 144Hz over HDMI 1.4b: HDMI 1.4b carries 1920x1080 at 144Hz fine, so the single HDMI input is not a limitation at this resolution.
