A 27 inch QD-OLED gaming panel at 1440p and 180Hz, with a 0.03ms response time and the effectively infinite contrast that only OLED delivers. Quantum dot OLED gives noticeably better colour volume than conventional white OLED, and this panel covers 99 percent of DCI-P3 with Pantone validation.

Model code warning, this matters
Samsung sells two nearly identical codes in India and they are different monitors.
- LS27FG502SWXXL, with an S before the W, is this monitor: the Odyssey OLED G5, model G50SF, with a QD-OLED panel.
- LS27FG502EWXXL, with an E, is the Odyssey G5 model G50F, a conventional LCD panel at the same resolution and refresh rate.
Both are 27 inch QHD 180Hz, so specification tables look similar at a glance. The panel technology is entirely different. This listing is the QD-OLED. If you are comparing prices elsewhere, check the letter.
Two honest notes before you buy
200 nits typical brightness is low by LCD standards. OLED contrast makes it look far brighter than the number suggests in a dim room, but in a bright, sunlit room an LCD will be easier to read. Consider where the monitor will actually sit.
180Hz needs DisplayPort. Over HDMI 2.0 the panel runs at 144Hz. Use the DisplayPort input if your card has one.
No speakers, no USB-C, no USB hub, and the stand is tilt only.
