Note the range codes
GX1 and CX1 are different lines, and both exist. TeamGroup's T253X1 part number is the GX1. T253X5 is the CX1. They are easy to mix up.
What 240GB and 500/400 gets you
This is the slowest and smallest drive in the range, and it is priced accordingly. What it does deliver is the single biggest upgrade any old machine can get: replacing a spinning hard drive with any SSD transforms boot time and general responsiveness far more than any other single change.
240GB is genuinely tight. Windows 11 plus updates will use a substantial fraction of it. This is a drive for an office machine, an older laptop, or a boot drive alongside existing storage. It is not enough for games.
NAND is 3D TLC. DRAM configuration is not disclosed by TeamGroup.
