Be realistic about the speed

1600/1000 is slow for NVMe. A Gen4 drive reads at 5000 MB/s or more. Even other Gen3 drives commonly reach 3400. This is the entry point of the range and the 256GB capacity is the reason: fewer NAND dies means less parallelism, and this drive shows it.

It is still roughly three times faster than any SATA SSD, and it costs very little. For a boot drive in a light machine, that is enough. For a work drive, look at the MP33 PRO, which reads at 3400.

This is Gen3, not Gen4. It will work in a Gen4 slot at Gen3 speeds.

65 TBW is low endurance. Fine for normal desktop use, not suitable for heavy continuous writing.
