The timings are loose, and that is the trade

CL40-52-52-96 is considerably looser than the CL30 kits. That is what it costs to get 64GB modules stable at 6000MHz. If you need the capacity, this is the price. If you do not, a 64GB CL30 kit will be faster in every workload that fits in 64GB.

Do not buy 128GB for gaming. Nothing uses it. Buy it for large video projects, big datasets, many simultaneous virtual machines, or local AI model work where memory capacity is the binding constraint.

Check board support carefully

64GB unbuffered modules are at the edge of what consumer boards handle. Not every DDR5 motherboard validates them, a current BIOS is essential, and first boot memory training can take several minutes. Check your board's qualified vendor list for 64GB module support before ordering, not after.
