Platform matters more than the clock
On Intel, 6400 CL40 is a step up from 6000. Intel's memory controller scales with clock speed.
On AMD AM5, a 6000 CL30 kit will very likely be faster in practice. Above 6000MHz most Ryzen chips move the memory controller to a 2:1 ratio, and the latency that adds, plus the looser CL40 timings here, usually cancels out the bandwidth advantage.
The higher number is not automatically the better buy. Check your platform.
