Intel only in practice

This kit is the wrong purchase for an AMD Ryzen build. AM5 cannot hold a 1:1 memory controller ratio at 7200MHz, so it drops to 2:1 and latency rises enough that a cheaper 6000 CL30 kit will outperform it. Buying this for Ryzen means paying more for worse gaming performance.

On a high end Intel platform it is a top tier kit and the extra bandwidth is real.

Check board support

7200MHz is at the limit of what consumer boards handle. You will typically need a high end chipset, a current BIOS, and only two of the four memory slots populated. Check your board's qualified vendor list before ordering, not after it fails to post.
