Where 5200 CL40 sits
This is the JEDEC baseline for DDR5. It runs on any DDR5 board with no tuning and no compatibility risk. Faster kits at 6000 or 6400 give measurable gains, particularly on AMD Ryzen where 6000 matches the memory controller ratio, but they also cost more and occasionally need a BIOS update.
For a build where reliability matters more than the last few percent, 5200 CL40 is the sensible, boring, correct choice.
